The Practice EFL teaching experience I'm having is located in Bogota (Colombia), my hometown. I went back to my previous job and asked my boss to let me have the experience for 20 hours beginning on Monday June 23 and ending on Friday June 27. I'm not allowed to give the name of the private English institute I used to work at, but I will describe it as one of the two best possibilities the citizens of Bogota have to learn English.
The class I'm in is composed by 10 teenagers (ages between 15 and 16), three boys and seven girls. They are about to finish the English program which takes 5 years studying two hours every Saturday. Now it's vacation time in Colombia, so this class is an intensive vacation course that meets from Monday through Saturday four hours per day.
Going back to the class level, I said they are about to finish, that means they are in level C11 out of 12 in total, where C stands for adolescents. This institute works with Task-Based Learning since 2006, so these students are very fluent in English and the class is based on communicative tasks.
